Styr1 - Odor neutralizer for styrene

Styrene is widely used in the production and processing of fiberglass and plastics.. It is a volatile organic compound (VOC) that carries an unpleasant odor. Styr can be used to reduce emissions, by reducing the airborne styrene content.

Styr is a non-toxic blend of food-grade emulsifiers and essential oils, specifically designed for tackling the odors created by styrene processing. Styr is typically applied via a finely-atomized mist that will combat styrene in the air, reducing styrene emissions by up to 98% in just 20 minutes, and almost instantly removing odors.

Styr enhances the solubility of styrene in order to allow it to be absorbed by the airborne Styr, and subsequently neutralized. When styrene is absorbed, it is transformed chemically into other odorless compounds (as illustrated in the diagram). Styr can be applied by scrubbers, high-pressure nozzle air atomizing unit, fan-based unit or specially designed and built equipment.
